A Georgia jury has convicted Colt Gray’s father, Colin Gray, in connection with the tragic mass shooting at Apalachee High School.
Jurors reached a verdict in under two hours, holding the 54-year-old father criminally responsible after prosecutors argued he provided his teenage son with the AR-15-style rifle used in the attack as a Christmas gift.
The shooting claimed the lives of two students and two teachers, while nine others were wounded.
Colin Gray was convicted on:
- Two counts of second-degree murder
- Two counts of involuntary manslaughter
- Twenty counts of cruelty to children
- Five counts of reckless conduct
The case has intensified national debate over parental accountability, gun access, and school safety laws across the United States.
