Finesse2Tymes, the Memphis rapper, is facing accusations of having someone else perform in his place and scamming the promoter out of thousands of dollars at a Huntsville, Alabama, club.
According to XXL, a person wearing Finesse2Tymes’ jewelry and a balaclava mask performed on stage, leading many to speculate that it was his brother instead. A video of Finesse arguing with the show promoter on FaceTime went viral, and the show’s host, Kendra Fletcher, commented on Facebook about the incident.
Despite the accusations, Finesse2Tymes denies the claims of impersonation. In a statement on his Instagram Story, he clarified that the person who performed was his opening act, not an impersonator. He also mentioned that the opening act was drunk and under the influence of Fentanyl and that he had no part in scamming the promoter out of money.
Finesse2Tymes wants to make it clear that he did attend the show and is staying at the Spring Hill Suites in the city. He wants to clear his name from the accusations and states that he did not have anyone else perform in his place.
