In a candid and eye-opening interview, rapper Fat Joe opened up about his unsettling experiences with the infamous Suge Knight. The rapper emphasized that Suge Knight shared similarities with the notorious OJ Simpson, who managed to evade certain consequences for his actions before ultimately facing a severe sentence.
Joe said, “OJ Simpson might have got away with some sh***, and he went back and got his own sh***, and he got 20 years in jail. Some Muth***** know you walking earth and that if you slip on the wrong banana pill, they’re going to give you 10,000 years.” Adding, “It’s a bed waiting for you. It’s just a matter of what mistake you’re going to make to get in that bed.”
Fat Joe discussed Suge Knight’s undeniable contributions to the world of Hip-Hop, but he did not shy away from addressing the dangerous aspects of the legendary figure. However, he stressed that beneath the surface, Suge Knight was, in his own words, ” a f***ing problem.” Recounting personal encounters, Fat Joe said Suge would come up to him and say, “Yo Crack! What’s up big homie? “I’m like, yea?” Suge would say, “Did you see such and such?” Asking about a rapper. Next thing you know, They’re like did you hear about rappers such and such, they got stuck up for all his jewelry.
One particular incident highlighted by Fat Joe involved Suge Knight sitting in a chair in front of the club, where he was seemingly collecting rappers’ jewelry. Astonishingly, Suge refrained from touching the belongings of his inner circle, leaving many puzzled by his actions. This chilling anecdote portrayed Suge Knight’s enigmatic persona and the fear he evoked within the Hip-Hop community.
