Fans and some artists aren’t feeling Lil Uzi Vert’s recent performance at Rolling Loud, where the artist made a satanic chant when he was performing to the crowd.
One artist Tony Yayo expressed disapproval of Lil Uzi Vert’s recent performance at Rolling Loud California, where he claimed to have convinced a member of City Girls to believe in Satan.
When approached by TMZ Hip Hop on Tuesday in NYC, Yayo refused to discuss the topic and indicated that he was uncomfortable with anything related to Satanic beliefs due to his upbringing in the church.
He did not offer any advice to JT, Uzi’s girlfriend and a member of City Girls, on whether she should distance herself from Uzi. In contrast, R&B artist Summer Walker strongly criticized Uzi, questioning whether he genuinely supports the devil or if he is simply following a trend in rap that glorifies “demons.”
Uzi is reportedly completing his “Pink Tape” album, and it remains to be seen whether the controversial song will make the final cut.
