Drake is a loyal friend who proved it in a remarkable way. Recently, he joined Lil Yachty in a candid conversation called “Moody Conversation” on a beach in Turks and Caicos. They talked about a range of topics, including retirement, therapy, and extraterrestrial life.
During the chat, Yachty asked Drake to share the most extraordinary thing he had ever done for someone. After some prodding, Drake recounted the “Oklahoma Story,” where he donned prosthetics for three hours to show support for a friend in court.
“I once did like three hours of prosthetics so I could attend somebody’s court date that I cared about ’cause they were in trouble for something,” Drake said.
Despite dressing up as an octogenarian, he was still identifiable to the public when he entered the courtroom.
“Everyone is like, ‘Is that Drake as an 80-year-old?’”
I had “one of the best Hollywood makeup artists in the world,” but that didn’t work. “They were still like, ‘That’s definitely Drake in there.’ It did not work,” Drake added.
Yachty mentioned that the incident occurred in the distant past, and Drake opted not to disclose the identity of the friend he supported.
In their conversation, Drake also spoke about his future departure from the rap scene. Though he is not yet ready to retire, he has contemplated the idea of a “graceful exit.”
