In an inspiring revelation, DMC, the rapper from the legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC, has unveiled his aspiration to run for the esteemed position of President. With a fervent desire to bridge the gaps prevalent in today’s political landscape, DMC envisions a future where unity takes precedence.
In a recent interview featured in the soccer-focused publication OutKick, which was published on August 26, DMC chose an opportune moment to share his presidential ambitions—during the highly anticipated Major League Soccer (MLS) league debut of soccer icon Lionel Messi.
Reflecting on the significance of this occasion, DMC expressed, “The whole beauty of everything that’s going on, Messi being here, soccer, MLS, everything that’s going on, this is what the world is all about,” he told the outlet. “We see so much division, but if we go to a soccer game or concert or museum, where the sports and art is, it’s a true representation of how great this world is. Not can be, is”
DMC then unveiled his presidential bid, with an announcement imbued with symbolism and purpose. “And I am running for President starting today, because in a beautiful place like this… what better place to announce it? But it’s all about togetherness and people coming together.”
