Sean “Diddy” Combs turned a normally gloomy Thanksgiving behind bars into a moment of unity and warmth… launching a full-scale holiday meal for inmates at Fort Dix, according to insiders.
Sources tell us the music mogul teamed up with an inmate-led group known as Bankroll Bosses, pooling money to stock up on commissary ingredients, then spending two full days cooking and prepping enough food to feed every housing unit in the facility.
Diddy shared his reason behind the effort, saying the holiday is all about making sure people don’t go hungry… especially when they’re far from home. “Thanksgiving is about making sure people eat. Everybody misses their family, and the holidays can hit hard in here. We wanted to stick together and create something meaningful,” he said.
B.I., a former gang leader who helped coordinate the operation, added that the team cooked and distributed trays of food to every building… roughly 200 meals per unit… ensuring no one was left out.
What began as a bleak holiday became one of the most memorable days inside the prison, thanks to a community-driven plan led by Combs and his group.
