A Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto was forced into an emergency landing at Toronto Pearson Airport, sending emergency teams rushing to the scene.
According to reports, 80 passengers were on board the aircraft when it touched down under distressing circumstances. While no fatalities have been reported, Peel Regional paramedics confirmed that eight passengers sustained injuries.
“Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis,” the airport stated on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday. “Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”
