Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders is raising the bar yet again for his Colorado Buffaloes football program as the team heads into the 2025 season. Entering his third year as head coach, Sanders isn’t just focused on wins on the field… he’s setting strict standards in the classroom, too.
Sanders has introduced a new classroom dress code that players must follow without exception. The rules are clear: no slides, no hoodies, and no headphones during class. On top of that, players are forbidden from sitting in the back row. For online courses, athletes must wear shirts and remain seated instead of walking around during lectures.
“If I see you in slides on campus, we’re going to have a problem,” Sanders warned in a video shared by his son, Deion Sanders Jr. “If I see you with a hoodie or headphones in class, it’s going to be a problem. And if you’re sitting in the back, it’s definitely going to be a problem.”
By tightening standards off the field, Coach Prime hopes to instill the kind of discipline and focus that can carry the Buffaloes to even greater success in 2025
