In a surprising turn of events, Daphne Joy has removed her social media post accusing rapper 50 Cent of rape and abuse. This move comes as 50 Cent continues his defamation lawsuit against her over the same allegations.
According to a source close to Daphne Joy, she decided to delete the controversial post in an effort to ease tensions with 50 Cent for the benefit of their son, Sire. Interestingly, it seems that 50 Cent has also removed his posts about Daphne, indicating a possible truce between the two.
The drama unfolded when Daphne, who shares a son with 50 Cent, publicly accused the rapper of rape and physical abuse in a now-deleted Instagram post dated March 28. 50 Cent was quick to deny the allegations and subsequently filed a defamation lawsuit against her in May.
Daphne Joy has since hired attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan to represent her. We reached out to Kaplan for a comment, but have yet to receive a response.
