DaniLeigh, Former Partner Of DaBaby, Arrested For DUI Hit-And-Run, Allegedly Dragging Victim One Block

Miami Beach, FL – Shocking news emerges as DaniLeigh, the renowned singer and former partner of DaBaby, finds herself spending the end of the Memorial Day weekend behind bars. The reason? Allegedly hitting a person with her car while driving under the influence.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Miami Beach police arrested DaniLeigh, accusing her of being involved in a DUI hit-and-run incident that caused serious injury to the victim, who was riding a moped. Eyewitnesses and the police report obtained by TMZ describe a series of events that unfolded near Miami Beach, with DaniLeigh reportedly driving at high speeds and swerving recklessly between lanes.

Tragically, she allegedly struck a person on a motorized scooter and dragged the moped for about a block. Fortunately, a vigilant individual managed to flag down a nearby police officer, leading to the subsequent stop and arrest.

According to the official paperwork, the arresting officer noted the smell of alcohol emanating from DaniLeigh. Field sobriety tests were administered, which she purportedly failed. Additionally, a Breathalyzer test was conducted, revealing breath alcohol concentrations of 0.145 and 0.148—nearly twice the legal limit. Consequently, DaniLeigh was taken into custody and booked on three felony charges: driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.

The victim of the collision was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where medical professionals diagnosed a kidney laceration and spinal fracture resulting from the incident.
