Rap star DaBaby says his freestyle skills equal Eminem, J. Cole, And Kendrick Lamar, but fans don’t feel the same. DaBaby thinks that there are only a few folks in rap who can even touch him lyrically.
Fans and media say DaBaby is having a hard time selling tickets these days. It was reported that DaBaby’s team set up his concert ticket sales as a buy one, get one free to pack out the stadium, but that didn’t seem to work.
DaBaby told Hoffa that he has few peers in today’s game in terms of taking a beat and rhyming extemporaneously.
Saying, “You can produce the beat on and off. I go Eminem level on it!” he said. “You gotta go one of them to f- with me. Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole … Aint too many more others. I don’t want to disrespect nobody, but boy, raise your hands! I’m like that for real, I don’t gotta talk about nobody else though.”
