Cleveland Browns rookie Michael Hall Jr. found himself in serious legal trouble early Tuesday morning after being arrested for reportedly threatening his fiancée with a gun during a heated domestic dispute on Monday night.
Hall, a promising defensive lineman drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, was involved in a disturbing altercation at approximately 10 PM in Avon, Ohio.
According to a police report obtained by The Chronicle-Telegram, the situation escalated when Hall allegedly assaulted his fiancée, striking her with a baby bottle before dragging her down a driveway.
The 21-year-old football star then reportedly pointed a gun at her head, shouting, “I will f***ing end it all,” as tensions reached a boiling point.
Authorities were alerted to the scene by the fiancée’s mother, who claimed that her daughter had been physically harmed by Hall. When police arrived, they discovered two firearms in the home, and the damage inside suggested a violent struggle had taken place.
In response to the arrest, the Cleveland Browns issued a brief statement acknowledging the incident. The team stated that they were “aware of the situation” and are currently “gathering more information” but declined to provide further comment at this time.
Michael Hall Jr., who had been a standout player at Ohio State before being drafted by the Browns, had just participated in his first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers over the weekend. Now, his NFL career is clouded by this alarming incident as the investigation continues.
