Chief Keef fans are in for a treat as the rapper is scheduled to perform in his hometown for the first time in over a decade at the upcoming Summer Smash Festival in June.
The announcement comes as Keef joins the ranks of headliners for this year’s Lyrical Lemonade festival, sharing the stage with industry heavyweights like Playboi Carti and Travis Scott, as well as fellow Cactus Jack labelmates Sheck Wes and Don Toliver.
Berto Solorio, co-founder of the festival, expressed excitement about Keef’s return, describing it as a significant moment in Chicago’s music scene.
He remarked to the Chicago Sun-Times, “It’s going to be a historic moment in Chicago music history when Sosa returns home to perform at Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash.”
In addition to Chief Keef, the festival boasts a stellar lineup including Big Sean, Kodak Black, Denzel Curry, Lil Yachty, JID, Mick Jenkins, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Waka Flocka Flame.
Mark your calendars for June 14-16 as SeatGeek Stadium transforms into a hub of musical excellence for the Summer Smash Festival.
