Boosie Badazz recently addressed speculations surrounding his relationship with Plies, emphasizing that there are no issues between them. In an exclusive interview clip shared by VladTV on January 16, Boosie delved into the 2006 shootout during a concert in Gainesville, Florida, featuring both artists.
Dismissing rumors of a feud with Plies, Boosie shed light on the 2006 incident, revealing that their supposed beef was a misconception. He expressed how the narrative of their discord persisted even during his prison term, emphasizing that external forces fueled the false perception.
During the interview, Boosie clarified that the infamous shootout had nothing to do with any personal dispute between him and Plies.
Recounting the events leading up to the incident, Boosie explained that he was informing the promoter about his scheduled performance when Plies’ microphone was unexpectedly turned off.
This action triggered gunfire from Plies’ crew, creating a chaotic situation at the concert venue.
Boosie asserted his innocence in the matter, stating that he played no role in the conflict and was merely focused on his performance. He highlighted the misunderstanding that painted a false picture of animosity between him and Plies, reiterating that their relationship has always been amicable.
