Boosie Badazz is making it clear… next year is all about self-preservation. The Baton Rouge rap icon took to social media on Wednesday (Aug. 7) to declare that 2025 will be a “selfish” year, focusing solely on himself and securing his bag.
In a fiery tweet, the Louisiana rapper made it known that he’s embracing a no-handouts mentality moving forward.
“I’M GO KEEP ON ENJOYING MYSELF EVERYWHERE I GO … I’M FROM LOUISIANA THAT’S HOW WE DO,” he wrote. “WE GO OUT TO SHOW OUT #facts WHOEVER DON’T LIKE IT, DEAL WITH IT, CAUSE U CAN’T DO SHIT ABOUT IT.”
Boosie didn’t stop there. He doubled down, advising his fans to secure their own finances and stop expecting support from others… a lesson he says too many people learn the hard way.
“SAVE YOUR MONEY U GOTTA BE SELFISH … COLD PART ABOUT THIS WORLD WHEN U FALL IT’S NO ONE GO PICK U UP. THAT’S LIFE,” he added.
Boosie then referenced Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Dame Dash, who has publicly feuded with Jay-Z for years despite playing a pivotal role in launching Hov’s career.
“LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE DAME DASH HELPED,” Boosie tweeted. “F*ck that, I AIN’T HELPING NOBODY BUT ME.”
The rapper made it crystal clear… 2025 is all about Boosie, and he’s done handing out favors.
Boosie wrapped up his rant by letting everyone know that he’s cutting off the negativity and won’t be entertaining requests for help next year.
“WHEN SH*T GET REAL U GO HAVE U N GOD … 2025 DON’T NOBODY ASK ME FOR SH*T THANKS N ADVANCE.”
To emphasize his frustration, he followed up with one last declaration:
“EVERYONE PISSING ME OFF TODAY SHAKING MY HEAD.”
Despite his claim that “everybody blocked”, Boosie still had 1.3 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) as of Thursday evening.
With his no-nonsense attitude and financial focus, it looks like Boosie Badass is stepping into 2025 on his own terms… and he’s making sure everyone knows it.
