In an unexpected move, Beyoncé has treated her fans to a surprise release of her latest track, “My House,” coinciding with the launch of her documentary film, Renaissance. The Grammy-winning artist premiered the film in London’s Leicester Square on the evening of November 30, and shortly thereafter, she delighted listeners by dropping the track on various streaming services.
Crafted in collaboration with The-Dream, who co-produced and co-wrote the song, “My House” seamlessly extends the dance and house music vibes found in Beyoncé’s latest album, also titled Renaissance. Fans have responded positively to the track, with one enthusiastic post on X (formerly Twitter) exclaiming, “Renaissance in IMAX… when ‘My House’ started playing during the credits, I felt like I was in the club.”
Another fan highlighted Beyoncé’s authentic accent in the first half of the song, stating, “The fact that Beyoncé is using her ACTUAL accent on this first half of this song… That’s that COUNTRY baby, that’s that Texas!”
Adding a humorous touch, one fan playfully commented, “Beyoncé made ‘My House’ for everyone who hosts parties at their house and wants a song that tells people to get the f*ck away at 3 am.”
