Beyoncé isn’t letting Celine Dion or Lady Gaga steal the spotlight at the Olympics… she’s making her own mark on the grand event!
The global superstar amazed millions of viewers during the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony on Friday evening. In a surprise twist, a video featuring Beyoncé lit up TV screens everywhere.
In the over two-minute clip, Beyoncé performed a remix of her hit song “YA YA” from her country album “Cowboy Carter,” with a little help from some Team USA athletes.
Dressed in a striking red, white, and blue one-piece swimsuit, Beyoncé started off by confidently strutting to the camera and greeting, “Hello girls.” The women’s gymnastics team, led by Simone Biles, responded enthusiastically.
The scene then shifted to the men’s gymnastics team, with Beyoncé greeting the “fellas,” who replied that she was “pretty swell.”
