Beanie Sigel revealed heartbreaking details about Aaliyah’s tragic passing while en route to record in Miami.
Sigel shared, “She came to do a couple of records for us.” But, sadly, the world lost an incredible talent too soon.
In a candid conversation with Vlad, Sigel reminisced about Aaliyah’s passing and how it affected their studio secession. He also revealed that Freeway’s emotional verse on ‘I Can’t Go On This Way’ paid tribute to Aaliyah’s passing, adding yet another layer of sorrow to this already tragic event.
Vlad also commented on Aaliyah’s boundless potential, noting that she was just getting started in music and acting.
Aaliyah was an American singer, actress, and model. She was born on January 16, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Aaliyah began her music career at the age of 15 and rose to fame in the mid-1990s with her debut album “Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number.”
Some of her popular songs include “One in a Million,” “Try Again,” and “Are You That Somebody?”. In addition to her music career, Aaliyah also pursued acting and appeared in films such as “Romeo Must Die” and “Queen of the Damned.”
Sadly, Aaliyah died on August 25, 2001, in a plane crash in the Bahamas, at the young age of 22. She remains a beloved and influential figure in the music industry, and her legacy continues to inspire artists to this day.
