Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown faced criticism from Mac Miller fans for a photo he posted on X (Twitter) featuring the late rapper’s mother, Karen Meyers. The controversial image showed Mac’s ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, wearing Brown’s Steelers #84 jersey in a stadium bathroom.
Brown’s attempt to show off took an unexpected turn as Mac Miller’s devoted fanbase deemed it disrespectful due to the inclusion of the rapper’s mom.
On October 3rd, Antonio Brown shared a photo on his X (Twitter) account, showing Ariana Grande wearing his Steelers jersey. He captioned the image with, “I had baddies at the game before the announcements…….. Arianators.” However, what Brown may have seen as a flex, fans of Mac Miller perceived differently.
The tweet quickly drew the ire of Mac Miller’s fanbase, who took issue with the inclusion of Karen Meyers in the photo. One fan expressed their displeasure, commenting, “Nah you foul for this fam. This is Mac’s mom.” Another fan added, “Don’t disrespect Mac.”

Even Quentin Cuff, a close friend and co-manager of Mac Miller, joined the chorus of criticism, urging Brown to delete the photo with a tweet that has since been deleted: “Ay bro take this down that’s Mac momma bro.”
In the controversial image, Mac Miller’s mother, Karen Meyers, could be seen taking a selfie while also wearing a Steelers jersey. Her presence in the photo appeared to be the primary source of contention among fans, who felt it was insensitive to involve her in the post.
