André 3000 has shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, expressing that he’s not particularly thrilled about it.
In a recent interview with Crack Magazine, the OutKast icon opened up about his feelings on the clash between two of hip-hop’s biggest names. Rather than excitement, André admitted the conflict has left him feeling disheartened.
“It made me a little sad,” he confessed. “Back in the day, rap battles were just kids in the park going at it, trying to out-rap each other. But now, it’s more than just rapping. There are people with entire teams, companies, and empires behind them. Careers and livelihoods are on the line.”
He continued, “If you’ve got nothing to lose, then sure, go ahead. But when you’ve already made it, I’m not sure it’s worth the risk anymore.”
