A$AP Rocky’s ongoing assault trial took a dramatic turn as his former friend and alleged victim, A$AP Relli, took the stand and recalled a shocking confrontation that nearly turned deadly.
On Tuesday, Terell Ephron… known as A$AP Relli… testified about the intense 2021 altercation where he claims Rocky pulled a gun on him during a heated argument. According to Relli, he was in disbelief and even challenged the rapper, reportedly saying, “You better use that sh*t, what the f*ck you got a gun for?”
Relli told the jury that his bond with Rocky, which dated back to their high school days, had already been strained. The situation escalated after he overheard a conversation between Rocky and A$AP Bari, where he claims Rocky was badmouthing him.
The following day, things took a more serious turn. Relli testified that Rocky repeatedly called and texted him while he was asleep, with messages like “Let’s get to it… stop ducking my calls.” When he finally answered a FaceTime call, Rocky demanded to know his location. Moments later, the rapper allegedly arrived at Relli’s Hollywood hotel with two men by his side.
During the heated exchange, Relli claims Rocky reached for a firearm from his waistband and pulled the trigger. The bullet reportedly grazed Relli’s knuckles, a moment he says cemented the breakdown of their relationship.
While Rocky’s legal team insists the firearm was merely a movie prop incapable of firing real bullets, Relli refuted this, stating he had never seen Rocky with any kind of gun before that night.
Rocky, who has pleaded not guilty, faces two felony charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. If convicted, he could serve up to 24 years in prison. His lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has dismissed the allegations, claiming Relli is attempting to extort the rapper.
As the case unfolds, the hip-hop community watches closely to see how this high-stakes legal battle will play out.
