Tekashi 6ix9ine’s flashy lifestyle is now up for grabs, as the IRS has put his extravagant jewelry and Gold and Platinum plaques on the auction block. After seizing the items last year due to alleged unpaid taxes, the government is looking to cash in big.
A total of 63 high-end pieces are available across various online auction sites, with bidding kicking off on March 5. Experts estimate the collection’s worth to be hundreds of thousands of dollars, with some standout pieces expected to fetch six figures.
Among the most notable items is 6ix9ine’s famous “Bruce the Shark” chain, crafted by Houston jeweler Jimmy Phan, which could sell for anywhere between $100,000 and $200,000. Also up for grabs are his Jigsaw-inspired “Billy the Puppet” pendant, a diamond necklace rumored to belong to his ex, Yailín la Más Viral, and a collection of Gold and Platinum plaques celebrating his biggest hits… including Day 69, Dummy Boy, Gooba, Kika, and Stoopid.
The IRS raided 6ix9ine’s Florida mansion in April 2023, citing four years of unpaid taxes as the reason behind the seizure. The controversial rapper recently addressed the situation on his Instagram Stories, revealing that authorities took action while he was stuck in the Dominican Republic.
“1 year ago when I was stuck in DR, the feds raided the entire house because I didn’t report my income for 4 years,” 6ix9ine explained.
He also suggested that a viral video showing off a safe full of cash led to the confiscation of his prized possessions.
With collectors and fans gearing up for the auction, 6ix9ine’s past financial troubles are proving to be someone else’s gain… at a very steep price.
