Lil Baby’s jaw-dropping $8 million gambling loss in just 40 hours has sparked reactions across the internet, and 50 Cent is adding his voice to the conversation.
During his recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast, Lil Baby opened up about his past gambling habits, admitting to losing an eye-watering $8 to $9 million in under two days.
“One day, probably in like, 40 hours,” Baby said, reflecting on the moment that changed his perspective on gambling. “I lost like, $8 million, $9 million. I made myself stop gambling. I had Mike Rubin write a letter to every casino and ban me from the casino, ’cause I just do sh*t.”
The Atlanta rap superstar explained that this massive loss prompted him to quit gambling entirely… a decision he solidified by seeking self-exclusion from casinos.
While Lil Baby is turning over a new leaf, 50 Cent couldn’t resist chiming in on the headline-grabbing revelation. Known for his candid social media commentary, the “In Da Club” rapper shared his thoughts on Instagram.
“Nah these young [ninja emoji] crazy. 8 million gambling? I thought only Floyd Mayweather do sh*t like that,” 50 wrote, posting a clip of Lil Baby’s interview. He added some humor to the situation, saying, “LOL come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill no body.”
In another comment, Fif speculated about the timeline, joking, “Come on, he said 1 day, because he lost it in 1 shot.”
