Yung Bleu has made a significant decision to abruptly conclude his Love Scars tour, which included 17 scheduled performances. This unexpected move came after he had completed less than half of the originally planned tour dates. Recent public controversies and personal challenges have caused the artist to reassess his priorities.
The artist found himself at the center of social media attention due to a series of public disputes. His wife, in particular, openly confronted him after revelations surfaced about him flying out a woman from Philadelphia, which led to a public apology from Yung Bleu. Furthermore, a long-standing contract dispute with Boosie Badazz, his former mentor, reignited, adding more fuel to the fire of controversy.
In the midst of these tumultuous events, fans began to express their concerns when they noticed that the dates for Yung Bleu’s upcoming shows were being canceled. The Richmond, VA, and Philadelphia, PA, performances scheduled for September 9 and 12, respectively, left ticket holders unable to access their tickets.
On the day the Philadelphia show was supposed to take place, Yung Bleu finally addressed his fans, officially announcing the cancellation of the remainder of the tour. In a heartfelt message to his supporters, he expressed his inability to fully articulate his feelings about the tour’s abrupt end.
“Words can’t explain how I feel about the remainder of this tour being canceled. This is not a letter someone on my team typed for me ! Not a press release . This is me speaking direct. I sincerely apologize to every fan I disappointed. when things like this happen the only person to blame is “The Artist” so I accept it . I won’t make excuses. I was honestly having so much fun wasn’t ready to go home.”
“But as I take a deeper look . this time can also be looked upon as a blessing in some ways. because I’ve had time to disassociate from social media and get my mental health right as well as get my family in order. A man cannot do anything if his house is not in order. With that said . I will be back to give FREE shows to every city we missed. My team is working around the clock to make this happen.”
“Once again I appreciate you all and I hope I didn’t loose any fans in the process. If so I will be working hard to regain you as a fan and supporter I will win you back no matter what it takes. Much love and peace ! I’ll be taking a break from social media to tap back into the best version of me ! My family deserve that ! See y’all soon and thank you 🌙.”
The artist from Alabama went on to explain that he is redirecting his focus towards restoring harmony in his home and family life. Additionally, he revealed his intention to step away from social media temporarily to address his mental well-being.
Yung Bleu emphasized the importance of having one’s life in order, stating, “A man cannot accomplish anything if his house is not in order.” As a gesture of goodwill to the fans who were affected by the tour cancellation, he announced plans to offer free shows to those who had purchased tickets for the canceled dates.
