Young Thug isn’t holding back when it comes to Kid Cudi’s recent appearance in court against Diddy… and social media caught it all.
On Thursday night, shortly after Kid Cudi publicly thanked fans for standing by him during what he called a “stressful” time on the witness stand, Young Thug took to X (formerly Twitter) to fire off a since-deleted post reading, “Dam cudi a rat lol.”
Though he quickly erased the message, screenshots began circulating within minutes, sparking a flurry of debate online.
The Atlanta rapper’s reaction didn’t shock too many fans. After all, Thug famously distanced himself from fellow YSL artist Gunna after he took a plea deal in their high-profile RICO case. What adds more fuel to the fire?
One of Diddy’s lawyers, Brian Steel, was the same attorney who played a major role in securing Thug’s release from jail during the RICO saga.
Cudi’s testimony added serious weight to Diddy’s legal woes. The “Pursuit of Happiness” artist told the court he believed Diddy was behind a break-in at his home and a car bombing that obliterated the interior of his Porsche.
These incidents allegedly occurred after Cudi began a romantic relationship with singer Cassie… a former longtime partner of Diddy’s.
While Thug’s post was short-lived, its message was loud and clear… and fans are now divided over whether Cudi was simply telling the truth or crossing a line in street ethics.
