Young Buck, the former G-Unit rapper, found himself in a heated situation when an altercation broke out between him and some members of Afroman’s crew at a Virginia Club. This incident occurred on the weekend of Saturday, June 25, after Buck allegedly refused to leave the stage following his performance. The disagreement escalated when Buck supposedly slapped Afroman’s artist, Lil Sodi, in the stomach at the VIP section of the venue, leading to a brawl between the two parties.
According to TMZ reports, Buck took to Instagram, which has now been deleted, to express his frustration towards Afroman. He claimed that his intention was to spread love and not cause any trouble. Buck emphasized his willingness to confront any challenges and pointed out that his hometown, Cashville, always stands strong.
Afroman also took to Instagram to provide his perspective on the incident. He uploaded a video showing Young Buck appearing intoxicated with a half-empty bottle of Jack Daniels and attempting to light a cigarette. The video also captured gestures from people on stage, signaling Buck to leave, which he eventually did.
In his Instagram post, Afroman gave a detailed description of the events from his viewpoint. According to him, he arrived at the venue at 9:20 PM for his scheduled performance, but had to wait due to someone still being on stage. The venue had a closing time of 11 PM. Afroman waited with his social media photographer, bodyguard, and Lil Sodi when Young Buck entered the room. Afroman mentioned that he is against using racial slurs and claimed that Buck behaved in a hostile and aggressive manner.
Afroman stated that they were on the right side of the VIP section, while Buck entered the room and went to the left side of the VIP section, hurling insults. Buck changed his direction and walked over 70 feet towards Afroman’s social media photographer, striking him in the side of the stomach with the back of his hand. Subsequently, Buck approached Lil Sodi, repeatedly saying crazy slurs and encouraging him to use drugs. Buck then backhanded Lil Sodi in the stomach. Lil Sodi initially thought Buck was heavily intoxicated and tried to confront him verbally, leading to the altercation.
Afroman expressed his disappointment, feeling violated and disrespected by Young Buck’s behavior. He also believed that the venue staff should have done more to control Buck and remove him from the environment. Afroman acknowledged their past relationship and urged Buck to refrain from violence, alcohol abuse, and drug use. He forgave Buck and offered his prayers.
Lil Sodi, the artist associated with Afroman, commented on the incident, taking a more diplomatic approach. He emphasized the importance of respecting personal space, especially when interacting with strangers. Lil Sodi highlighted that their purpose was to perform and leave, and there was no need for aggression. He urged others to show respect and avoid unnecessary hostility.
