Hip-hop star YG has found himself in legal trouble after being arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge in Burbank, California.
According to TMZ, the rapper behind hits like “Big Bank” was stopped by police in the early hours of Tuesday morning (October 1) after reportedly driving over a curb.
When officers arrived, YG was already out of his vehicle, leading authorities to further investigate the situation. While no breathalyzer test was conducted at the scene, law enforcement did obtain a blood sample, ultimately booking the rapper for a misdemeanor DUI.
YG’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, issued a statement saying he is in the process of gathering more information regarding the incident. Tacopina emphasized that his primary concern at the moment is YG’s health and well-being.
