Yella Beezy is once again a free man… for now… after securing his release on bail in the Texas murder case that has made headlines. The rapper, whose real name is Markies Conway, walked out of custody on Friday morning after posting a $750,000 bond, just days after his arrest for his alleged involvement in the 2020 murder of fellow rapper Mo3.
Originally, Beezy’s bail was set at $2 million, but during a bond reduction hearing on Thursday, a Texas judge lowered the amount, making it possible for the rapper to secure his temporary freedom.
Prosecutors claim Beezy orchestrated the murder of Melvin “Mo3” Noble, who was gunned down in broad daylight on a Dallas highway in November 2020. Authorities believe Beezy enlisted Kewon White to carry out the killing, but the rapper has denied all allegations, maintaining his not guilty plea.
As the case unfolds, Yella Beezy’s legal team is expected to fight vigorously to clear his name. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
