Yaya Mayweather was sentenced to six years of probation after an incident where she tried stabbing NBA YoungBoys’ baby mom in 2020.
Yaya finally received her verdict in her court case versus one of NBA YoungBoy’s baby moms, 35-year-old Lapatrra Jacobs.
Yaya and Lapatrra got into an argument inside the Rappers Houston home. According to Hip-HopVibe, Yaya wanted Lapatrra to leave, and that’s when two knives were drawn. Lapatrra ended up going to the hospital and underwent surgery.
Yaya initially faced 99 years in prison, but with her dad’s money and a clean record, she could take care of her legal finances. She also entered a guilty plea, allowing her to receive only six months of probation.
