WWE Chief Executive Vince McMahon is retiring amid being investigated for paying off what some would call “hush money” or “entanglement money,” meaning please don’t speak a word of our entanglement.
McMahon has had multiple women say that he allegedly paid them money to keep quiet about their relationship.
McMahon said, “As I approach 77 years old, I feel it’s time for me to retire as Chairman and CEO of WWE.” However, he did not go into further details; according to a new report from the Journal, McMahon paid over $12 million to four women and even more to hide his alleged sexual misconduct and infidelity.
According to the Journal, all involved signed an agreement with McMahon that keeps them from discussing this issue. He did, however, pay the women for 16 years.
