Wendy Williams has finally weighed in on the swirling controversy surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, and her reaction is exactly what you’d expect from the outspoken former talk show queen.
Known for never holding back on her opinions, Wendy addressed the recent headlines involving the music mogul’s alleged criminal activities.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Wendy revealed that many people have approached her recently, giving her credit for calling out Diddy’s alleged misdeeds long before they came to light.
“What’s really strange is that so many people have said, ‘Wendy, you called it,’” she explained. “Even some of my own family members have told me the same thing.”
Diddy was arrested by federal agents at the Park Hyatt New York two weeks ago, facing serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, as well as transporting individuals for prostitution. If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
During her conversation with The Mail, Wendy also addressed the resurfaced 2016 footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel.
She described the video as “horrific” and wondered aloud how many more women could have suffered similar abuse at his hands. “It’s just so horrible,” Wendy lamented, contemplating the possible number of victims involved.
Wendy’s take on the situation, along with the serious nature of the charges against Diddy, has reignited discussions about accountability and justice within the entertainment industry.
