Turk, a key member of the Hot Boys, has expressed his confusion and frustration over the recent criticism from his fellow group member B.G., who has been openly hostile towards him.
Just a few weeks ago, fans were excited about the possibility of a full Hot Boys reunion. However, the dream seems to be fading as Turk and Lil Wayne did not join the other members at the recent Cash Money anniversary celebration at the Essence Festival.
During the event, B.G. criticized Turk and suggested his absence was self-inflicted, saying: “The n***a did a bunch of ho sh*t and can’t take it back… The n***a know what he did last summer.”
B.G. even compared Turk to LeToya Luckett, a former Destiny’s Child member, implying that Turk wouldn’t be missed in a Hot Boys reunion. Turk was quick to respond to these comments in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
“B.G. to me has been very disrespectful. If I really did anything to you, brother, I can’t see you holding back and saying what it is,” Turk said. “I don’t know what it is, I can’t figure it out. I can’t put no light on a lie. Homie made a statement saying I know what I did last summer. I know what I did last summer.”
Turk then highlighted his efforts to support B.G. over the years and questioned the possibility of a Hot Boys reunion without him. “I never felt a Hot Boys reunion could be done without homie.”
“Proof of that is every time we came together — for instance, LeBron James’ party,” he said. “LeBron James in the middle of his speech shouting out everybody. I’m like, ‘Hold up LeBron, free muthafucking B.G.!’
“I was doing these things because you can’t have a reunion without B.G. and I think I probably made a lot of people mad about that when I was doing it.”
As tensions rise, the future of the Hot Boys reunion remains uncertain. Fans are left wondering if the iconic group can overcome their differences and reunite once more.
