Turk has fired back at B.G. after the latter criticized him during Cash Money’s reunion at the Essence Festival. The legendary label’s 30th-anniversary celebration in New Orleans on July 5 saw Birdman, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, and B.G. share the stage, but fans were disappointed by the absence of Turk and Lil Wayne. While Wayne performed a solo set later, neither he nor Turk joined the group performance.
B.G. took to Instagram Live that night, implying Turk was banned from the show due to unspecified reasons. “It’s only one dude missing, ya heard me? He did some stuff he can’t take back. He has himself to blame for not being here,” B.G. said cryptically.
Turk didn’t take the comments lightly and responded on his social media, casting doubt on a potential Hot Boys reunion tour and album. “Y’all want this reunion because you’re struggling out there. I’m blessed and favored by God. I don’t need it,” Turk fired back. “Forget a Hot Boys tour. Disrespect won’t be tolerated. B.G. better sit down somewhere. He doesn’t run anything around here, not with me.”
Turk also slammed B.G.’s recent music, calling it “wack” and accused him of seeking publicity through conflict. “He’s playing all these games for clout,” Turk said, referring to B.G.’s previous diss at Lil Wayne after his release from prison.
As the feud continues, fans are left wondering if a full Hot Boys reunion will ever happen or if the rift between Turk and B.G. is too deep to mend.
