In a recent altercation near Miami Beach, rapper Travis Scott found himself posing for a mug shot following an arrest sparked by a dispute on a yacht.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, authorities responded to a call about a fight on one of the boats at a local marina.
Upon arriving at the scene, police encountered Travis Scott engaged in a heated argument with individuals aboard a yacht. The person who reported the incident urged officers to remove the rapper from the area immediately.
As officers began escorting Travis Scott away from the yacht, he allegedly shouted obscenities at the boat’s occupants. They continued to guide him off the docks and towards the street where his ride was waiting.
At this point, Travis Scott reportedly warned officers that if he got into the car, he would “catch a fade.” He then left the scene but returned five minutes later.
Upon his return, police claim they intercepted Travis as he attempted to go back to the boat. They described his behavior as erratic and belligerent, and noted a strong smell of alcohol, leading to his arrest for disorderly intoxication.
Sources close to Travis Scott have reported that he has since posted bond and been released, considering the incident to be a “minor charge.” They stated that the altercation stemmed from a party that got out of hand when Travis refused to leave, but emphasized that the situation did not escalate to violence.
Despite the arrest, Travis Scott appears unfazed by the ordeal. He even reposted his mug shot on social media with added enhancements such as headphones and sunglasses, suggesting he doesn’t see the incident as a significant issue.
