It’s worth noting that Scott is the ex-partner of Kylie Jenner.
According to TMZ, the 30-year-old rapper allegedly punched someone and caused property damage. As of now, no charges have been filed against Scott, and the NYPD is seeking to speak with him and his representatives regarding the incident. On Tuesday night, Scott performed with Don Toliver at the midtown club. According to WNBC’s Myles Miller, the altercation involved a sound engineer at the club.
According to a reporter, Travis Scott is accused of causing $12,000 worth of damage at the Club Nebula. Page Six reported that the rapper allegedly damaged a video screen and speaker. However, Scott’s representatives claim that it was just a big misunderstanding and he did not do anything wrong.
Talent booker Ritchie Romero, who booked Don Toliver to host Scott’s after-party, said that the incident was a total misunderstanding and that everything turned out great, with everyone leaving peacefully.
Scott’s lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, also stated that they are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve the situation and set the record straight.
“We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
A source close to Scott told The U.S. Sun that the venue confirmed it was a simple misunderstanding that was resolved in minutes, and Scott and his team have been cooperating with authorities.
According to The U.S. Sun, the source added, “The show was great and never missed a beat. This has to earmarks of a cash grab but will be resolved, and all those with an agenda will be held accountable.”
