Tiger Woods has suffered yet another injury blow. The golf superstar revealed on Tuesday that he ruptured his Achilles while training for the upcoming PGA Tour season at his Florida home.
The 49-year-old confirmed that the injury occurred in his left leg… thankfully, not the right one, which was nearly amputated following his horrific 2021 car crash.
Woods wasted no time addressing the issue, undergoing a minimally invasive procedure earlier in the day. His medical team deemed the surgery a success, with his doctor stating, “The procedure went smoothly, and we expect a full recovery.”
Now in recovery at home, Woods took a moment to express his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for all the support.”
As fans and the golf world rally around him, the big question remains: How soon can Woods make another comeback?
