Authorities in Arizona have taken three young suspects into custody following a series of smash-and-grab burglaries that hit multiple smoke shops across the area.
Police say the suspects… identified as Joshua Dubinsky, 19, Romayne McKinney, 19, and Shawn McKinney, 23… are accused of breaking into several businesses and stealing large amounts of merchandise.
According to investigators, surveillance footage from one location shows a suspect hurling a rock through the store’s front glass door before all three climbed inside. Once inside, one individual carried in a large black storage bin while the group rushed toward the back of the shop, rapidly filling it with products before fleeing the scene.
One business owner reported the break-in caused approximately $17,000 in damages and stolen inventory, adding to growing concerns among local retailers.
Police continue to review video evidence as the investigation remains ongoing.
