Unfortunately, S’more’s Girl Scout cookies are in short supply as a major bakery has trouble delivering orders due to a lack of ingredients and labor.
Little Brownie Bakers, a Louisville, Ky facility known for baking Girl Scout cookies for decades, seems to be the reason for the slow-down.
Little Brownie Bakers facility is one of two major suppliers for the cookies. “We anticipate some councils will be largely unaffected, while other councils and girls may not reach their cookie goals,” Kelly Parisi, a spokeswoman for Girl Scouts USA, told fast Company in a statement.
“Girl Scouts of the USA is working with our baker to mitigate the impact to councils, troops, girls, and customers.”
A spokesperson for Little Brownie Bakers confirmed the slowdown in production.
