In the UK, rail travel is a great way to get around. But now, a new train ticketing startup is changing the game and the world by offering to plant a tree every time someone buys a train ticket.
If you book through their company Trainhugger, the company pledges to plant a tree every time someone decides to travel by train, and they also give a third of their revenue to helping plant the trees.
“This is a really easy way for people to change their behavior and become greener, without it costing them any more. So if you’re planning a trip, book your train ticket with us, and we’ll plant a tree in your name.” Ed Caldecott, CEO, and founder of Trainhugger, said.
If you would love to make a difference globally, Trainhugger has an app coming soon to make it easier to help you do your part. Also, if you would love to travel by train or if you already do, please be on the lookout for their app.
