Peter Robbins, who was the voice of “Charlie Brown,” sadly has taken his own life at 65. Robbins was the first person to bring a voice to Charlie Brown at the age of 9. Robbins’ family announced that he sadly passed away. Insider noted that the cause of his death was suicide. His friend and Agent Dylan Novak sent a statement to the Times Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022.
Robbins has dealt with bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia and has always been open about his struggles with mental illness. As a result, Robbins became an advocate for mental health issues, where he started doing tours urging people to take their emotional well-being seriously.
