Ryan Whyte Maloney, a talented singer known for his time on The Voice, has sadly passed away at 44. Authorities in Nevada confirmed his death, saying Ryan took his own life from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Just hours before his passing, Ryan shared a video on Instagram Stories, showing himself at a bar. In the clip, he mentioned performing at a private event, saying, “Nine Fine Irishmen for a private party tonight, and we will be rocking.”
Ryan rose to fame during Season 6 of The Voice in 2014, impressing the judges with a stunning rendition of Journey’s Lights during his blind audition. He quickly secured a spot on Blake Shelton’s team and made it to the top five under the country star’s mentorship.
