The Tailed Jay butterfly (Graphium Agamemnon) is a lovely tropical green and black butterfly. The Tailed Jay butterfly belongs to the swallowtail family. They are also called the Green-Spotted Triangle, Tail Green Jay, or Green Triangle. You can usually find these beautiful butterflies in gardens and urban areas due to its food plant, Polyalthia longifolia.
Tailed Jay butterflies are active throughout the year, but their abundance depends upon the local monsoon and the availability of the larval host plants.
