The Orange Sulphur butterfly (Colias Eurytheme) is a beautiful butterfly in the family Pieridae, also known as the Alfalfa butterfly. These beautiful butterflies can be found throughout North America, from southern Canada to Mexico.
The wingspan of these beautiful butterflies is about 1 3/8 -2 3/4 inches. Adults feed on Nectar from many kinds of flowers, including dandelion, milkweed, goldenrods, and asters.
Their preferred habitat is clover and alfalfa fields, mowed fields, vacant lots, meadows, and road edges.
