The Northern Brown Argus Butterfly (Aricia Artaxerxes) is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. They can be found in Britain, Europe, Scotland, Northern England, and much of the Palearctic realm. The Northern Brown Argus butterfly has a wingspan of 29mm and is considered a small butterfly. They prefer sheltered places, patches of bare ground such as sand dunes, quarries, coastal valleys, and steep slopes.
