The Large Emerald moth (Geometra Papilionaria) is a large bright green attractive moth with a wingspan of 50-65mm. Adult Large Emerald moths rest with their wings spread and raised at an angle similar to a butterfly. They fly at night and are attracted to light but occasionally fly up to the top of trees.
