The Island Marble butterfly (Euchloe Ausonides Insulanus) is a beautiful-looking white-greenish butterfly, with a marble texture under the hind wing. They have a wingspan of about 1.5 and 2 inches.
The Island Marble butterfly is a fast-flying fluttering butterfly endemic to Washington state’s San Juan Islands. Once believed to be extinct, it was found in 1998 and has been listed as endangered since 2020.
