The Holly Blue butterfly (Celastrina Argiolus) is a beautiful butterfly with bright blue wings. The Holly blue butterfly can easily be identified in early spring, as it emerges well before other blue butterflies. These lovely butterflies tend to fly high around bushes and trees, whereas other blue butterflies usually don’t.
Their primary habitat is gardens, parks, hedgerows, and woodland rides. They can be found in North America, Central America, Eurasia, and South Asia. The wingspan of the Holly Blue butterfly is about 35mm.
