The government of Malawi has defended its decision to ask Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, to become the country’s official cannabis ambassador.
If you don’t know, now you know… Mike Tyson has numerous ventures when it comes to the cannabis industry in the United States. Tyson has always talked about the benefits he gets from cannabis and how it makes him a better person.
Even though Tyson has had his ups and downs, the government of Malawi believes that Tyson would be a perfect ambassador. In addition, Malawi legalized the growing and processing of cannabis for medicinal purposes last year.
In October, Tyson launched “Tyson 2.0” a new company that will sell cannabis products across the U.S.
“Cannabis has changed me for the good both mentally and physically, and I want to share that gift with others who are also seeking relief,” Tyson said. “My vision for Tyson 2.0 is to make high-quality cannabis products available to consumers at various price points.”
