The Golden Tailed Hairstreak butterfly (Habrodais Grunus) is a beautiful butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. They are found in southern Arizona, Oregon, California, and Mexico.
They have a wingspan of 25-32 mm, and the upper side of the males is dark brown with a yellow tinge in the cell area of the forewing. The female wings are less dark.
Golden Tailed Hairstreak butterflies feed on moisture from various sources and possibly also feed on aphid honeydew or other exudates.
